Activating WP Balochistan
[edit]Can someone please help me on how to activate the Wikiproject Balochistan Category:WikiProject Balochistan, Pakistan participants. We have all the provinces activated except Balochistan. It is high importance for Pakistan: Wikipedia:WikiProject Pakistan as its one of the four provinces. Tribal Explorer (talk) 11:45, 8 August 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah, right! I am also surprised to see that geographic stub types exist down to district level for Punjab and KP but not for Balochistan and Sindh. If small regions like Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan have own stub categories, Balochistan with its huge territory, clearly lacks coverage.
- If there isn’t enough interest in reactivating a dedicated Wikipedia Project for Balochistan, which I would support, the province would benefit from at least having more structured support with dedicated geo-stubs, constituency-stub, and own MPA-stubs. Crosji (talk) 02:42, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
- The real issue isn't about activating the WikiProject. It's the lack of active editors. As long as we have enough engaged editors working on Balochistan-related articles, the activity level of the WikiProject itself doesn't matter much. — Saqib (talk I contribs) 10:32, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
